About Dr Hadi

Dr Hadi had experienced as a program coordinator for his Department of Chemistry Undergraduate Programme between 2022-2023 prior to the current role he is playing in advancing digital learning, both within Universiti Malaya and at the national level. He has conducted numerous training programs and workshops inside and outside of Universiti Malaya, focusing on innovative pedagogies, integration of digital tools in teaching, and capacity building for academic staff and others. As a Council Member of Majlis Ketua-ketua E-Pembelajaran IPTA (MEIPTA), Dr Hadi contributes to shaping the national e-learning agenda by supporting strategic initiatives and fostering collaboration among public universities to enhance the quality of digital education. He also participated in many AKEPT training, most prominently, the Disruptive Digital Leadership Program. 

Related to academic matters at Universiti Malaya, he has overseen the development and publication of over 50 micro-credential courses and more than six (6) Open and Distance Learning programmes, contributing significantly to the university’s digital learning ecosystem. His expertise in educational technology and innovation is further reflected in his co-authorship of the landmark report “Digitalization of Learning and Teaching in Higher Education”, among others, commissioned by Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education, which serves as a strategic guide for institutions nationwide.
