Neon Run II

20 October 2018 - Persatuan Teknologi Bahan (Matech), UiTM Shah Alam

This event was organized by Materials Technology Society (Matech), Faculty of Applied Sciences. About 150 students and 8 lecturers from Materials Technology program worked together to make it a success, which was headed by Puan Suzana Ratim. The run received tremendous crowd with nearly 1000 participants from UiTM and outside of UiTM.

The 5km run took place at UiTM Shah Alam where the UiTM auxiliary police and the Malaysian Red Crescent Society UiTM chapter were involved to ensure the safety and success of the event. This first ever event had greatly generated an income for the program and the faculty. The society had received initial financial supports from the faculty and The Warrior Sparkling Energy drink, which was also the official drink for the event. The second edition of the Matech Neon Run will be held in 2018.
