Grades are earned, not given! The grade you receive at the end of the class reflects your overall performance in all of the below areas. These areas play an important role in your language development.
Grading Policy: In order to move on to the next level (GER 102), you need a grade of “C” or better.
Your grade will be computed as follows:
Attendance 10% (7% attendance, 3% Peer Tutoring and Event Attendance)
Participation 15%
Homework 20% (Connect 15%, Discussion/Blogs 5%)
Quizlet 10%
Midterm Oral Exam 7.5%
Chapter Exams (Einf A/B-K3) 20%
Final Project 10%
Final Oral Interview 7.5%
