During your traineeship abroad you can change your LAT only once and this within one month of your official starting date (= the date that is mentioned in 'my student file' - 'Exchange portal'). This change request can be done via 'My student file' - 'Exchange portal' - Download 'changed Learning agreement').
WHY? If during your stay your initial LAT changes, you MUST ask for a change request! It is essential that your LAT is correct. Hasselt University will not acknowledge obtained results/feedback from a traineeship abroad if the registered LAT doesn't mention the same content as the results/feedback from the traineeship place/promoter.
If during your traineeship abroad your initial dates change (= these dates can be found in 'My student file'- 'Exchange portal'), you MUST hand in a change request for your dates. You can ask for a change of dates via this link.
WHY? It is essential that Hasselt University is aware of your official traineeship period abroad (first day= official day that you are present at you traineeship place, can be for introduction or language course or ...; last day= official last day that you are present at your traineeship place This can be your last official traineeship day or a last appointment, etc.). We need this information for the insurance and for your study programme.
Download the 'traineeship certificate' via 'My student file' - 'Exchange portal' - 'traineeship certificate'.
The Traineeship Certificate must contain the actual start and end dates of the traineeship programme according to the following definitions:
The start date of the traineeship period is the first day the trainee has been present (physically or virtually) at the traineeship place to carry out the traineeship. For example, this could be the first day of work, a welcoming event organised by the traineeship place, an information session for trainees with special needs, a language and intercultural course organised either by the traineeship place or other organisations (if it is relevant for the mobility).
The end date of the traineeship period is the last day the trainee has been present physically at the traineeship place to carry out the traineeship, and not the actual date of departure.
If these dates differ from your original LAT and/or changed LAT, your Erasmus grant agreement and the dates in your Exchange portal, this MUST be mentioned via this link at least 1,5 months before your official end date.
The traineeship certificate must be signed by al parties
Upload the PDF in your 'exchange portal' or send it to ms. Erika Vandersmissen (erika.vandersmissen@uhasselt.be)
Download the 'statement of home institution' via 'My student file' - 'Exchange portal'.
Here you mention the correct official first day and official last day (see above for more info about the dates). If these dates differ from your LAT, your Erasmus grant agreement and the dates in your Exchange portal, this MUST be mentioned via this link. We need to know in advance (at least 1,5 month before your official end date) if your dates differ from the ones that are mentioned in your documents and exchange portal.
