Watch the video, "Internet Privacy, V2" and then ask yourself:
- What are some positive and negative ways in which information about you (including pictures) posted online could affect your reputation?
- When you post information online, how long does it stay there for?
- Can you control access to and sharing of information online?
- What are some of the differences between having everyone in your town know something about you and having that same information posted online?
- Outline a scenario in which posting sensitive or controversial personal information online might have negative consequences.
- In the video, the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario says that privacy equals freedom. What do you think she means by that? Do you agree or disagree? Why or why not?
