Preparing for Return
Complete forms
You should have been provided with two forms for the project. The first form is the Group Enrollment Form. This form should have been completed at the beginning of the project and given back to the 4-H Agent. If you did not complete this form at the beginning of the project, be sure to complete it and return it to the Agent as soon as possible. The second form is the Teacher Survey. This form should be completed at the end of the project and returned to the Agent.
Please check with your agent to ensure you have completed both forms.
Clean the incubator
Clean your incubator with a light bleach solution by wiping down the bottom box, the water tray, the screen, and the egg turner. Do not get water on the motors located on the incubator lid or on the egg turner. These parts can be wiped down with a damp cloth or a disposable bleach wipe. Be sure to offset the lid after cleaning so that the inside of the incubator can dry. The $5 deposit will be returned if the incubator is returned cleaned.
Gather all supplies
Be sure to collect all supplies that you were given. Inspect each piece of supplies to ensure that it is clean and in the same condition that it was provided. Depending on the number of supplies available, you may have been asked to share some equipment. Make sure that you gather all shared equipment for return.
