About the 4-H Embryology Project

4-H Embryology teaches students about science by giving them the opportunity to understand the stages of a developing embryo. Students hatch chicks in the classroom and resume the responsibilities of caring for the fertilized eggs and the chicks after they have hatched. This science-based, hands-on learning experience develops the student’s skills in observation, problem-solving and recording data, and increases their love of science.
