Dear Parents and Guardians,
All mini teams have coaches (including appointed staff coaches). Welcome to our new coaches that joined just this past week!! Volunteer helpers/coaches are always welcome. Helpers have no responsibility other than to complete the free criminal record check and to bring positive energy to the field! Please offer to your coach to help out.

No Soccer on Canada Day, July 1st
Coach Vacation Time
As school ends, we know coaches would like to take vacation time with their family. We ask our mini parents to let their coaches know if they would step in an coach/ support the team when the team coach(es) takes vacation time. The club provides all session plans and equipment. We know of coaches who stress about vacation time or come back from vacation early to coach because they worry about their team. This should not happen. Please help alleviate this stress for our wonderful coaches by letting them know you will fill in.
Soccermania
It is TIME. Soccermania registration is here. United DFC is proud to continue on the Soccermania mini soccer festival tradition started by founding club, Dartmouth United close to 25 years ago. This day-long soccer festival brings together the players from our four UDFC mini fields for a fun-filled day-long soccer party at Portland Estates field. Canada Soccer has declared this event as a CIBC Soccer Fest Event.
Soccermania registration is included as part of the mini program but we still ask the families sign up HERE ASAP so that we can plan appropriately. We know not everyone can attend. The tentative schedule will be released on July 7th or before with the full schedule coming out by July 9th. The firm deadline for signing up for Soccermania is Friday, July 4th at 6 pm. All U5-9 games will take place on Saturday, July 12 with the rain date as Sunday, July 13. We are excited to welcome players to our Soccermania 2025
The tentative time frame for Saturday games is as follows:
Each U5 and U6 team will play for 1 hour between 11-2pm
Each U7, U8/9 team will play for 1 hour between 12-3 pm
The actual schedule will depend on how many players sign up. Please sign up BEFORE July 4th at 6 pm.
UDFC Soccer Day Camps
United DFC has 2 locations for our Summer Soccer Day Camps - Dartmouth High and Cole Harbour High. Both camps include swimming. Most camps are at or close to capacity in July but we do have a few spots left - especially at Dartmouth High. The camps are for ages 6-12 and are a lot of fun. Visit HERE for more information. Individual and Team Photos - June
The team photos are almost finished. We will make up our last raindate photos this week. Our photographer will be posting them ASAP and a link will be sent to families as soon as they are ready. If anyone missed their photo day, you are welcome to drop by any of these sessions and get in line for an individual photo.
