As all practices are held outside, on HRM grass fields (natural sports fields), United DFC follows the guidelines of HRM. UDFC tries to run programs in all conditions unless the fields are closed, torrential rainfall or unsafe conditions (lightning, extreme heat, etc). Families choose if they will attend sessions in poor weather. The staff will always be there unless the session is cancelled.
If you’re unsure if practice is cancelled due to a field closure you can check the link below or call 311. An email will also be sent to you from your Mini Program Coordinator or Manager to alert you of the cancellation. Always check your email before leaving for the field.
