The rules are mostly unchanged and the general premise is to build a coding habit by making a public commitment of coding every day for 30 days within Phase 1 of your Nutanix Hybrid Cloud Scholarship Challenge. Habits that emphasize consistent practice have been proven to help overall retention of new learning material.
These will be the general guidelines for this challenge within the Nutanix Hybrid Cloud Community:
Interested scholars will take the pledge via 👉this form👈
Scholars must study or code for at least 30 minutes every day.
They will post a short announcement about their progress in the #30days_udacity channel on Slack and note which day of the challenge they are on with a “D” followed by the day (e.g. D11 for Day 11 of the challenge).
Scholars will only count the days where they spent time in the Nutanix Hybrid Cloud classroom. (Or other relevant courses on Udacity)
Scholars will encourage and support at least two people each day in the #30days_udacity channel by replying to their entry or emoji reacting to it!
Scholars are allowed one skip day every two weeks, however they may not skip two days in a row. If more than one day is skipped consecutively, the scholar will not count the day they skipped once they resume.
Scholars must start on or before August 30th, 2020 in order to successfully complete the #30DaysofUdacity Challenge. This challenge must be completed by September 30th, 2020.
If you've completed the challenge, make sure to submit the 🚨COMPLETION FORM🚨! This will highlight your name on the pledge wall with the completion star! 🌟
