System requirements for AutoCAD 2021
Register on the Autodesk website using your ucsd.edu email and provide proof of enrollment or employment (student or staff ID works).
The license is good for 3 years from download date. The file size is about 6 GB. You will be emailed the serial information after requesting the download from the above link, so be sure to check your spam and junk folders.
System requirements for Solidworks 2020-2021 (EDU)
Visit the Solidworks Website to download the program. You will need the following information:

Instructors wishing to use SolidProfessor for their course should contact Jessica Tuazon (jltuazon@ucsd.edu) who can request a class code from SolidProfessor to set you up with a course account.
The cost for the UCSD student account is $50 for two years. When you purchase your account it will be listed as a 1 year purchase, but SolidProfessor will manually add an extra year for UCSD students by the end of the quarter.
Instructions for Purchasing Student Account and Accessing UCSD courses:
Visit the SolidProfessor Student Store.
Select "Post Secondary" option when following the directions to create your account.
Access your course under "University of California San Diego" and input the course code (provided by your course instructor).
Students who drop the class by the end of week 2 (we hope you don't) or who are on the waitlist can get their SolidProfessor account reimbursed.
Student Download Instructions:
Visit the egrove Spatial Vis website
Click the Log In/Sign Up Button
Click Sign Up
Create an account by entering your First Name, Last Name, UCSD Email Address, and Password. Then click "Sign up"
Verify your email address by logging into your account email. You should have a "Welcome to Spatial VIS Engineering!" email. Open the email and select the green "Confirm your account button". If the button does not appear, copy and paste the URL at the bottom of your email. You should receive a "You successfully activated your account." notification after verification.
Navigate back to the website (https://egrove.education)
Log In using your Email and Password from your new account and click submit.
Enter your Class Code provided by your course instructor and click submit.
Select "Enroll"
Download the "Spatial Vis" app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and log in to the Spatial Vis App.
