These are tricolored blackbirds that gather in large numbers to overnight in the reeds of a pond at the top of Spring Street. You can see some videos of the murmurations at https://www.youtube.com/@charliemcdowell4406. One knowledgable observer estimated as many as 2500 in December 2024.
These are cowbirds that we spotted near Long Marine Laboratory.
