In collaboration with the Everett Program, Watsonville Film Festival, Santa Cruz MAH, and the Pajaro Valley Arts League, we organized and hosted a virtual multimedia community event titled MURALS/ART/ACTIVISM.
We premiered two new films and had an artist panel with the filmmakers to discuss issues around race, representation, and art activism in solidarity with Juneteenth.
We organized and designed an entire social media campaign including graphics and an intro video, while also providing tech support throughout the program. We helped organize artists and partners. We had over 200 people stream the films and 25 people attend our zoom event. Along with this we hosted a pop up stand at the Farmers Market in Watsonville to discuss social change and issues of race.
