The Guitarfest is a friendly competition to be held in the Hall at the JB.
It is open to those learning Classical Guitar (Years 3 - 6), Electric Guitar (Years 3 - 4) and Electric Bass (Years 3 - 4) , whether they are learning at the JB or outside. There is no selection or audition process; the Guitarfest is open to any pupil who simply wants to take part.
There is no time limit on pieces and all levels may enter.
Prizes are awarded in Beginner and Advanced Classical and Beginner Electric categories.
The Guitar Ensemble will also perform.
Parents, grandparents and other friends/family members are most warmly invited.
Boys are given the opportunity to practise their pieces to their class in lessons leading up to the Guitarfest.
The Percussionfest is a friendly competition to be held in the Hall at the JB.
It is open to all those who learn drum kit or percussion (including world percussion, e.g. tabla, gamelan, etc.), whether they are learning at the JB or outside. There is no selection or audition process; the Percussionfest is open to any pupil who simply wants to take part.
There is no time limit on pieces and all levels may enter.
Prizes are awarded for Beginner and Advanced Drum Kit and Beginner and Advanced Tuned Percussion (e.g. xylophone, glockenspiel). Parents are most warmly invited.
Those performing on drum kit may play a solo piece or a piece with a backing track.
Those performing on tuned percussion or world percussion are to prepare a solo piece.

The Pianofest is a friendly competition open to all piano students, whether they are learning at the JB or outside.
There is no selection or audition process; the Pianofest is open to any pupil who simply wants to take part.
The Pianofest will be held in the JB Hall.
There is no time limit on pieces and all levels may enter.
Prizes and commendations are awarded in Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced categories. Parents, grandparents and family friends are most warmly invited.
The Junior Choir and Recorder Ensemble will also perform at the Year 3 & 4 Pianofest
The Senior Choir will also perform at the Year 5 & 6 Pianofest

This is a concert given by Shelley’s Rock Bands, to be held in the Hall at the JB.
Parents are most warmly invited.
The whole of Year 6 will reprise their March concert repertoire.
Orchestra, Big Band, Woodwind Ensemble, Junior Choir and Senior Choir to perform (do not forget the rehearsal the day before, i.e. Thursday, July 3, at 9:00am)
Boys playing instruments need to arrive at 9:30 to tune up and warm up.
