I ended the selection experiment in the Garland lab in December of 2025. However, all 4 of the High Runner (HR) lines and all 4 of the non-selected Control lines have been cryopreserved as both embryos and sperm at the Mutant Mouse Resource & Research Center at the University of California, Davis. Here are the links to the 4 HR lines followed by the 4 Control lines.

In addition, three other labs currently have one or more of the HR lines alive as of May 2026:
Marcell Cadney

HR lines 3,6,8 Note that 3 is fixed for the mini-muscle allele, which halves hindlimb muscle mass.

I'm happy to answer questions, help plan, chat on Zoom, etc. If you contact any of these PIs, I would appreciate being copied on the messages so that I can keep track of what's going on.
Sincerely,
