BGC Insight

(For Research Team Only)

If you (and your team) already have server code(s) set up by us for your study, then you can access and download all the data logs via BGC Insight without extracting from devices manually.

Step 0: Download compatible BGC Insight version based on your operating system.

Step 1: Follow the methods down below upon your needs

Method 1: Windows/PC

Step 1.1: Once the download is complete, click on the chevron on the right of .exe and click "Open"

Step 1.2: Click on "Run anyway" to install

Method 2: Macbook/iMac

Step 1.1: Click on the build in your downloads.

Step 1.2: Drag BGC Insight to the "Application" folder

(Tip: Follow the steps down below if any warning shows up)

Step 2: Locate and launch "BGC Insight" app

Step 3: Click on "Create Account" and fill out the information

(Tips: Please use your edu email and remember the logging information)

Step 4: Once you login, click on the drop down menu and select your desired organization to request access

Step 5: Once your request is approved, access the organization under "Organizations Apart Of" to access

Step 6: On the Organization screen, click on the drop down menu and select your desired study to request access

(Tip: Contact the collaborating research coordinator(s) for the name of study folder if you need assistance)

Step 7: Once your request is granted, access the study folder under "Studies"

Step 8: Click on the study folder to access and download data logs; then click on "View Up to Date list of Files"

"Download Files": to download all files

"Download": next to individual file to download this specific file only

"Open File Explorer": to display folder of the downloaded files in your computer

Troubleshooting

Getting the warning: "The application will not open because it requires an update"

Repeat and follow the installation steps 0-3
