Video Game Development Club at UCI

The Video Game Development Club (VGDC) at UC Irvine is devoted to providing a community to student game developers. Whether acting on an interest in the medium, or in pursuit of a long-term career, all are welcome.

We look to build each other up through workshops, crafting successful portfolios, and establishing lasting networks. Each and every voice is valuable and contributes to making our games what they are.

Learn from Different Disciplines of Game Development

We have 7 departments, each of which hosts weekly workshops that teach fundamentals in game development related to their area of interest. Game development is versatile in that coding is not the sole way to get involved in making games.
