Bilingual Dual Immersion Teachers

Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin have the option of being placed at dual immersion schools where they teach students learning in two languages.

Paired Placements

In a paired placement two UCI teacher candidates are placed in the same classroom with the same mentor teacher. The paired placement allows for greater collaboration between the two UCI candidates and the mentor teacher.

Research has shown that paired placements increase the opportunities for collaboration and differentiation for students.
