-The end?
What is justice? What is right? What is wrong? Is self-justice okay under any means? this is just the tip of the ice burg of questions I asked myself during my research progress. From searching for evidence to help prove my point to rewatching the same 3-minute clips over and over again, it was interesting to do. Viewing something I did with an academic lens instead of entertainment was new and it let me geek out on my personal interests but also make it academic. Although I wouldn't say I have come to a definite answer, I will say I have come to learn and appreciate both sides of justice. trusting in a system or taking action in your own hands...personally, I have a favorite but I am not here to influence you about that,
My dear Traveler:]
Instead, I think it's more important you come to your own conclusions about what justice means to you. So in the meantime let me tell you about my journey through Humanities Core or as the more loving term we have picked up on it, Humcore.
In the past few months, I have transitioned from the comfort of my home, city, family, and friends to embark on my own journey to becoming educated. Personally, I took this journey very seriously as I am a first-generation student, if it wasn't obvious before in previous entries I will make it clear now and it is something I am very proud of and is actively a part of my identity as a student. If anything it acts as my weird sense of pride and an anchor which is something I recommend you find yourself as Humcore is enjoyable and exciting but it can take a lot out of you.
From readings on justice, teens dealing with and breaking societal norms, analyzing sci-fi to see the struggles of others, what is Art, and who can be an artist? history, and video games. This is a very rough summary of the things I have learned and at first glance, they look really different, but it works. As I have come to realize over my time in this course is that everything is connected.
...
As you embark on this journey yourself a lot of things may shake you up, to say the least, you will have moments of self-doubt, wanting to go back, no longer be here. I have had my fair share of nights and days of feeling this overwhelming sense of dread, but I had my anchor, that weird pride that got me here in the first place. So I leave you with this find your anchor, whether it be something small as taking a walk, calling a friend, taking some deep breaths, or heck letting out a few tears, do it. As much as Humcore is helping you become worldbuilders it is important you look back and see your own world and see if it is stable enough for you to continue worldbuilding other worlds.
I truly wish you the best in every world
