I recently appeared on the science video podcast Talktopera to talk about my research on plant-pollinator mutualisms and share some poetry!
It's been a poetry-filled summer! I have a couple new poems (Risings & Interglacial) published in the Common Ground Review, and I won Deep Wild Journal's Graduate Student Poetry Contest with my poem Coast Range.
I published three nature poems in Kelp Journal. The poems are place-based nature poems about the ocean.
I published a feature story on the intersectionality of climate change, farmworker justice issues, and declining pollinators in California's agriculture for Anthroposphere, the Oxford Climate Review. Read more here.
In 2021, I published my first book of poems, Walking the Arroyo, exploring the relationships between place, spirituality, and identity in Arizona and Illinois.

As an intern for the Stanford Bill Lane Center for the West, I wrote this feature story about the science, policy and environmental justice issues of sea level rise in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was mentored by former NY Times journalist Felicity Barringer.
