How does climate change interact with invasive species to alter plant communities?

For my postdoctoral work co-mentored by Dr. Megan Vahsen at University of Georgia and Dr. Peter Adler at Utah State University, I am investigating how to predict the effects of climate variation on the population dynamics of invasive cheatgrass (Bromus tectorum) as part of the collaborative Bromecast network. 

My research in the Harrison and Valdovinos Labs at University of California Davis has further examined how drought affects the plant community composition of grassland seedbanks and the availability of wildflowers as floral resources for pollinators under temporal climate variation.
