I am a community ecologist broadly interested in how anthropogenic global change affects plant-insect interactions. I'm also a freelance writer, telling stories about relationships between people and the environment.
My research examines how interacting drivers of anthropogenic change affect the diversity, structure and dynamics of plant communities and their mutualisms with pollinators across biological scales. I seek to integrate theoretical, data-driven, and applied approaches to address these questions.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Utah State University, co-advised by Dr. Peter Adler and Dr. Megan Vahsen. My postdoctoral researcher is part of the Bromecast Project.
I graduated from University of California with a PhD and MS in Ecology, co-advised by Dr. Susan Harrison and Dr. Fernanda Valdovinos. I graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Ecology & Evolution, a minor in Creative Writing, and a notation in Science Communication. I grew up just outside of Chicago
