Annotated Bibliography

I have never written an annotated bibliography before, so I thought this assignment was very important to strengthen my research writing skills. After reviewing some of the sources from my research proposal, I realized that not all of them were as relevant to my research question as I thought they were. Although the process seemed very straightforward, there were definitely some areas I could have improved on after my first draft. Luckily, my peers gave me good feedback and I got to expand my reasoning for why I wanted to include certain sources in my paper. During this process, I also narrowed down my research question just to one question rather than two. I realized that having two research questions seemed to make my annotated bibliography (and likely my research paper in the future) more confusing than it needed to be. Overall, this process really helped me to review my sources and make sure that they would adequately support my topic.
