For Summer 2027, we are offering the following opportunities:

1. Programme #1: J-1 Summer Work & Travel Programme

The Bridge USA Summer Work & Travel Programme provides eligible Jamaican tertiary-level students with the opportunity to experience American culture while participating in seasonal employment during their summer break.

Eligibility Requirements

Students must:

1. Be registered as a full-time student, completing 12 or more credits per semester, at an accredited tertiary-level institution in Jamaica.

2. Be pursuing a 2–4 year diploma or degree programme.

3. Be Jamaican or hold a valid Jamaican passport.

4. Be between 18 and 30 years old.

5. Complete registration online at www.goexploreyourworld.org. Registration is now open.

Documents Required

Students should have electronic copies of the following documents available for upload:

• Passport data page — JPEG format; passport must have at least two years of validity.

• Most recent resume — PDF format.

• Valid school ID — PDF format. (An acceptance letter is acceptable for first-year students only.)

• Completed Tell Us About Yourself form available on the EYW website — PDF format.

Advantage Payment Package – September 7 to December 11, 2026

Standard Payment Package – December 12, 2026 to January 30, 2027

Early Bird Discount – First 25 Applicants

The first 25 eligible applicants may qualify for the following discounted programme fees:

• Job Assisted: US $1,745

• Returnee: US $1,545

US $100 will be refunded once all applicable requirements have been fulfilled.

To qualify, applicants must:

1. Register by October 5, 2026.

2. Select a job and create the Sponsor's account.

3. Submit the EYW Vacation Break Date Form.

4. Pay 100% of the programme fee by October 5, 2026.

25 for 25 Special Referral Discount

Students may also qualify for 25% OFF their programme fee by successfully referring 24 other applicants, subject to the applicable conditions.

The referred applicants must register using the student's referral link and each pay the required US $500 first deposit.
