Our Artifact Donors

The Anne Lambert Clothing and Textiles Collection is one of 30 registered museum collections that make up the University of Alberta Museums distributed network. Museum collections at the University of Alberta are used daily in teaching, research, and community engagement and are critical to the university's academic mission. The Collection is home to thousands of historical fashion items and unique cultural artifacts produced over the past 350 years. Since its establishment in 1972, the Collection has proven to be an integral educational resource to the Department of Human Ecology as well as the greater University of Alberta and international community.

This exhibition would not be possible without the generous donation of artifacts and financial support by the contributors introduced below. Their stories are inextricably woven into the histories of these textiles, providing vital context to our research.
