The research team was paid a visit by one of our project partners, Liveable Cities, a division of LED Roadway Lighting. Liveable Cities manufactures wireless streetlight controllers, smart city micro-sensors, smart software and energy-efficient LED streetlights.
As a collaborator in our school zones project, the team is working with data from their street light traffic speed and video camera sensors to explore how to make school zones safer and more efficient.
Our lead postdoctoral researcher on the project, Dr. Lubna Obaid, delivered a riveting presentation on project progress and outcomes, and then the group toured our lab on campus.Â
Thank you to the Liveable Cities team for stopping by!
