On-campus residences
Residence services comprises a variety of on campus and off campus housing (and meal plan) options available for students and their families. Graduate student housing is available, and a full list of housing options can be found here. Application deadlines are ongoing, so be sure to check availability for the semester in which you will start at the University of Alberta.
Off-campus housing
Neighbourhoods that are close to campus include Garneau, McKernan (LRT station), Belgravia, and Queen Alexandra. Edmonton's LRT service has stations in the Eastwood, Montrose, Belvedere, Clareview, Oliver, Downtown, Rossdale, Southgate, and Century Park neighbourhoods. Your registration comes with a U-Pass transit pass, which can be used for Bus & LRT service around the city. More information on the U-Pass can be found here.

There are a variety of transportation options to campus from the airport (taxis, Uber, bus/LRT, shuttles, etc). See here for more information.
Post-secondary institutions in Edmonton have partnered to operate a welcome booth at the Edmonton International Airport. It is located on the arrivals level near the U.S. border immigration exit and the Mac's convenience store. Transportation to campus on the Sky Shuttle is free for new students only.
