International Students are subject to a graduate student international differential fee

Tuition fees for Fall and Winter must be paid by the deadline for Fall in order to have no fees deducted from your paycheque. The University's payroll system automatically deducts outstanding tuition and fees from your pay cheque one month after the start of Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer terms in 6 equal payments as long as you have been appointed a Graduate Assistantship (GRAF, TA and/or RA) with the University of Alberta. Information regarding payroll deductions can be viewed on FGSR's payroll deduction website or in the KSR Graduate Student Manual.

Please note: Students cannot exempt themselves from this payroll deduction.
