Accommodations (plus useful info)
Accommodations are available on site at Casa La Salle.
There are a selection of single and double rooms and a few triple rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Rooms are functional and comfortable; their rates are reasonable and include breakfast and free parking (if needed). Rates do NOT include the city tax (i.e., "tassa di soggiorno", € 3,50 per person per night to be paid at the hotel reception - see bottom, under "Some useful info") and are as follows:
single room: € 76,00 per night (single occupancy, it means € 76,00 per person per night) + city tax;
double room: € 106,00 per night (double occupancy, it means € 53,00 per person per night) + city tax;
triple room: € 144,00 per night (triple occupancy, it means € 48,00 per person per night) + city tax.
The accommodation at the conference venue is available on a "first come, first served" basis. In case of overbooking (e.g., late or on-site registration), the management of Casa La Salle will accommodate IASL 2023 participants in hotels of the same quality in the immediate surroundings (walk distance).
Please, kindly note that Casa La Salle unfortunately does not allow online booking with a credit card: a money transfer (other than by a credit card) is therefore required. City tax (or tourist tax or accommodation tax, in Italian: "tassa di soggiorno"): € 3,50 per person per night (children under 10 years old don't pay it). The Rome Tourist (or City) Tax is a special tax charged per person per night by any lodging facility or campsite. The tax is added to your final bill at check-out and usually payable in cash at the hotel reception.

Getting around the city: a wide range of different kinds of tickets and season tickets are available with the Metrebus Roma system, as follows:
BIT (€ 1,50) - Valid for 100 minutes from the moment it has been stamped
MULTIBIT (€15.00) of 10 Integrated Time Tickets - Valid for 100 minutes from the first stamping. It can be reactivated for further 100 minutes by resubmitting it at a validator until all available reactivations run out.
ROMA 24H € 7,00 - Valid 24 hours from first validation and for unlimited travel within the city of Rome
ROMA 48H € 12,50 - Valid 48 hours from first validation and for unlimited travel within the city of Rome
ROMA 72H € 18,00 - Valid 72 hours from first validation and for unlimited travel within the city of Rome
CIS (€ 24,00 ) - Valid for 7 days from the date it has been first stamped, meaning until midnight of the seventh day including the day it was stamped, for an unlimited number of journeys
