SUMMARY: Participants will be able to understand multilevel learning, leave the workshop with the most effective techniques which they can use when working simultaneously with learners at different levels of training. We will discuss the literature on multilevel instruction. In this interactive workshop, participants will share techniques from different teaching experiences.
Dr. Madzimure received his medical degree from the University of Zimbabwe. He is first and foremost a General Practitioner. He trained in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Alberta. Dr. Madzimure has point of care Ultrasound training and Echocardiography training at the CK Hui Heart Institute. He practices General Internal Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth II hospital and as an intensivist at Queen Elizabeth II Intensive Care Unit.
He is actively involved with teaching as a clinical lecturer with the University of Alberta from the ICC clerkship program to internal medicine residents in rural, regional and tertiary centers.
His research interests are in Regional quality health care, regional critical care services. He enjoys: Road cycling, running and keeping up with activities of his wife and two kids.
