Dr. Jane Ojedokun is a family physician that has been practicing in Whitecourt for the past 6 years. She is the community medical director, and the Associate Zone Medical Director for Area 4 in the North Zone.
Dr. Ojedokun is originally from Nigeria, where she attended medical school. She completed her Family Medicine Training in the beautiful Republic of Ireland, before moving to Canada in 2012.
She is passionate about medical education, and took up teaching medical students as soon as she moved to Canada. She is currently an Associate Clinical Professor with the University of Alberta, and teaches/mentors third-year medical students in the ICC program in Whitecourt. She coordinates this site, and is a member of the ICC Education Committee.
She is married with 3 children, and her latest addition was born in February, 2018. She enjoys cooking, hiking, running and relaxing with a good book. IF she becomes Health Minister, she will abolish Fee-For-Service Payments.
