Join the Canadian Military, Veteran & Family Connected Campus Consortium (CMVF3C)
The CMVF3C is a consortium of Post-Secondary Institutions (PSIs) and associated community partners committed to advancing Military, Veteran & Family Connected Campuses (MVFCs) in Canada and beyond. The consortium is enabled by the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), Military Family Services (MFS). Aiming to maximize engagement and exchange of evidence-informed practices, policies and programs across its partners, the CMVF3C is recognized as a key national enabler for leveraging post-secondary education as a transforming force for those who may serve, serve, have served and their families.
Our collaborative and systematic approach aims to build the capacity, sustainability and growth of a network of PSIs contributing to the academic success and well-being of students, including military members (regular force, reservists, rangers), Veterans and their families. MVFCs will enrich campuses and communities; enhance CAF’s recruitment, retention and readiness efforts; contribute to VAC’s support of Veterans transitioning to life after military service; and facilitate relevant innovations for the public good. This rapidly growing initiative is vital to mobilizing our communities and collective efforts in support of local, national and global peace, stability and advancement. Come join us!
