The CMASTE graduate student group has monthly meetings during the academic year on topics chosen by the student members. Together, we build community and learn about topics that interest us.
All UofA graduate students with an interest in science, technology, or mathematics education are welcome to join the CMASTE graduate students group.

The purpose of our group is to cultivate a friendly and collaborative environment where graduate students in Science / Math / Technology Education:
engage in interdisciplinary research conversations;
explore issues of interest in education;
share experiences navigating graduate school;
are provided opportunities to develop research/presentation skills;
are supported in publishing and knowledge dissemination endeavours; and
undertake activities that serve as preparation for employment opportunities beyond graduation.
