UAL Awarding Body is regulated by Ofqual, CCEA Regulation and Qualifications Wales. We currently offer qualifications in art and design, fashion, creative media, music and performing and production arts. We are also the UK’s largest provider of the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design qualification.
Our qualifications have high retention and achievement rates because they are flexible, responsive and relevant to industry needs, and facilitate student progression.

The Candidate Group Authentication Form provides all the information that you need to complete the authentication process.
Please note that the form must be completed by two tutors or assessors to ensure the required authenticity and quality procedures have been followed for each group of students.
Students are also required to authenticate all work at the point of submission for assessment. Centres have flexibility in how they obtain a declaration of authenticity from students. An example of a student declaration statement can be found in the Candidate Group Authentication Form, or you may wish to use our ‘Individual’ Candidate Authentication Form provided.
The UAL Reasonable Adjustment and Special Consideration policies can be found on Policies and procedures page of the UAL Awarding Body website. Please be aware that our policies often change to reflect the needs of our regulators.
If you have any urgent questions about Reasonable Adjustments, Special Considerations or Extended Timeframes please email our Quality Assurance and Enhancement team at QAEsupport.awarding@arts.ac.uk.
