Must be light enough for Gregory to lift (less than 10 pounds, as that’s what’s comfortable for Gregory) and grasp
Easy to use with one arm
Easy for Gregory to clean and reuse
Can be used in hot and cold liquids
Can be used for mugs that are 3-4” wide and 3.5-5” high
Can be used for pots that are 8-10” wide and 5-7” high
Size of the device should be no larger than 8 in x 8 in x 10 in
The weight on the bottom keeps the bobber from always floating to the top
When the line connecting the bobber and weight is loose the bobber will lay sideways
When the line connecting the bobber and weight is taught the bobber will float upright
As the water level rises the line will get closer to being taught which would make the bobber flip upright when the desired level is reached
This flip from 2 vibrant colors to one will notify Gregory to stop filling the cup or pot
The product will be cleaned like any other utensil and then it can be reused
Slip bobber
Stainless steel weight
String/fishing line to attach weight to bobber
Gregory was able to determine when the bobber was sideways and showed 2 colors versus when it was straight and showed only 1 color
His pots are mostly stainless steel or aluminum
Recommended using a stainless steel or aluminum piece as a weight for the device that will be at the bottom of the pot
