This module was created for those entering or transferring into the Instructional Design workforce and want to learn more about e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate. While there are other tools available, these two tools are the most popular in the industry and common in open position skill requirements. The opportunity is to provide basic overview information to aspiring IDers to help them understand the advantages and disadvantages of both tools. They should feel confident enough to discuss basics in general conversation and explore both tools on their own after viewing the lesson.

Remote Work Netiquette: Distancing Yourself from Remote Work Emotions

During the Covid-19 pandemic, a majority of the workforce was thrust into remote working environments. Along with the culture shock of this transition, many new problems arose and even in a post-pandemic world remote work is here to stay for many employers.

This module addresses how to deal with misunderstood remote workplace communications and how to distance oneself from the emotions that can arise when dealing with them. After completing the training, remote employees will be able to apply positive methods, such as how to de-escalate situations more proactively and professionally, to create a more harmonious work relationship with remote employers.
