The Setting
This activity explores the potential for using technology to integrate cross-curricular activities in the classroom. Over the course of the semester, students have read Percy Jackson: The Lightning Theif, the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur, and studied the development of the first agrarian civilizations. This lesson provides an opportunity for students to make connections between elements of ancient cultures (including music, art, and dance), origins of the Minotaur myth, and the development of agrarian societies. For their culminating project, students will use their knowledge or art, muic, and dance to produce an authentic artifact.
