Reflection

In this assignment, I learned about the most impactful changes that are happening in the future. We are moving to virtual worlds! I believe that this is already happening with the innovations in VR and AR. I also think that students will be creating these virtual worlds for online training and for designing virtual spaces to design new spaces for the future. The 3 different articles that I read talk about how virtual worlds are now a reality.

The purpose of this assignment was to critically analyze new forms of technology for educational technology. STEAM Labs are the future, but students are going to be able to take classes in a virtual setting. Imagine students being immersed to any classroom using their phones and some googles. It seems like a farfetched idea but it is happening now. With Google Expeditions you are able to immerse yourself into any environment with a phone and googles. How cool is that?!
