Reflection

In this assignment, I learned how to use different tools in order to create a blended learning environment for my LEGO League classes. I am the lead coach for all the 22 LEGO League courses at my district, and since I cannot physically be there, I am creating content for other coaches and students to interact with the curriculum. This assignment opened my eyes about how to create digital content for all my students so they can be better prepared to compete for Regionals.

The purpose of this assignment was to find a strategy and rationale for a virtual community/course. I was also able to identify the different tools by the following categories: ownership, knowledge generation, individual identity, shared identity, social interaction and participation. I was able to identify 5 different tools and select the categories.
