Email/messages responses may take up to 5 business working days. We cannot always respond within 24hrs.
We usually recommend enquiring a least 3 months prior to when you are looking to go away on holiday, this is so we have time to fit new guests sleepovers in and make sure they will be happy on their holidays.
Younger guests
Kittens need to have had their complete course of vaccinations a month prior to staying with us for their first holiday.
We do not recommend puppies younger than 6moths old board with us. Under this age is an especially impressionable and vitale time for a puppy's development, both physically and mentally, and we like them to be old enough to be happy and confident in this new environment for their holidays.
Upper age limits for new guests
We do have an upper age limit on registering new guests with us.
We are unable to register new guests over the age of 9yrs for our canine guests, and 12yrs for our feline guests.
We have found in the past, if they are not already used to staying with us, it can cause them more stress than we feel is comfortable for them.
We’ve found over the years it’s so important to get to know our guests before their senior years.
This is so we can tell immediately if they’re a little off or becoming poorly, which can happen as they get older.
We of course take our registered guests well into their twilight years, but we feel confident in doing this as we know them really well, and they are familiar with their holiday environment, and most importantly are comfortable, happy, and content with us on their holidays.
For safety and security, we no longer allow viewings of our facility.
We require all new guests to send a copy or photo of their vaccination certificate along with the dates you wish to reserve.
If we have availability, We'll send you a registration form to complete and submit. The registration form needs to be completed within 7 days.
If we do not receive the registration form within 7 days, we will assume the booking is no longer required.
When filling in our registration from, we require you to provide an emergency contact. This person cannot be someone who is going away with you. They need to be someone our guest is familiar with. We will contact this person in case of an emergency, if you are unavailable.
If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call or email.
As we are a small family run business, we do have a cap of how many new guests we can register each year, especially over peak times - Easter, school holidays and Christmas.
We require all newly registered canine guests complete a sleepover prior to their holidays with us.
Sleepovers are a great way to get to know our guests, their quirks and personalities. It allows us to see how they enjoy their stay with us, and it helps them to relax into a routine when they come for their holidays.
Sleepovers cost £40 for one guest or £60 for two guests sharing.
Photographs
As mentioned, we are a small family run business and as such we pride ourselves in the care and love we show each individual guest. This does me that we do not have an individual within our business that is dedicated to a specific job, we do it all. This means we get to know each guest and know their quirks and personalities and are able to meet their needs to the highest standard.
However this also means we do not have our phones, and so cameras, with most of the day.
Valuable time is taken up taking photos of our guests, selecting the right ones and then forwarding to individual owners. This time we feel is best spent with our guests meeting their needs.
I have tried my best in the past to take photos of all our guests and give up dates to owners, however this is something that I will no longer be able to do.
We simply do not physically have the time.
We thank everyone for understanding.
Use of alternative Facilities.
We understand there are many alternative facilities to be utalised.
However we do ask guests have a minimum of 14 days between rest, between using other boarding facilities, before they stay with us.
This is to prevent communicable diseases potentially being passed between facilities.
