At the beginning of the school year (or each semester for High School), Secondary teachers must follow the steps below in order to ensure the proper sync occurs between Schoology courses and PowerSchool.

Step 1: Link Schoology sections before setting up the Gradebook
Linking sections will ease content creation, secure the LTI connection, and allow teachers to easily retrieve student data by switching between class periods. 

⚠️ It is critical this step is completed first. ⚠️

🚨 Once linked, do not unlink your sections.  Assignments and grades will be erased if you do. 🚨

Step 2: Set up the Gradebook
This will enable teachers to sync scores from Schoology to PowerSchool.
