Once teachers post a banner in one course, they can easily reuse that same banner and copy it into another course. These directions below will walk you through how to copy an existing Schoology banner from one course to another.
*Ex. Secondary teachers may choose to copy their Semester 1 course banners into their Semester 2 courses. Elementary teachers may choose to copy their banner from last year's course into their current course.
Step # 1: Go to your existing/old Schoology course and click on the "Banner Unpublished" page you previously posted.
Step # 2: You will want to highlight the banner so that you can copy it (Ctrl + C). To highlight, the trick is to drag from the empty white space in the top right corner just outside the banner and across diagonally to the bottom left corner. Once it is highlighted in blue, use the Ctrl + C shortcut to copy. It will look like this when highlighted:
Step # 3: Then, click on the Updates section of your other course. Paste the banner into this section using the Ctrl + V shortcut. Click on the speech bubble icon and be sure to check the bell icon, but uncheck the parent icon. When finished, click post.
