Recommended Workflow
When creating assessments in Schoology, it’s important to plan for flexibility and reuse. If you create questions directly inside individual assessments, those questions are locked to that assessment and cannot be reused or shared across other assessments.
To avoid this limitation, we recommend starting with Item Banks (also called Question Banks). Questions created in Item Banks are portable and can be imported into multiple assessments, making it easier to revise, reuse, and collaborate over time.
