Turning Point will once again be collaborating with the highly-regarded Galileo: Innovation Camps for Kids.
Galileo’s mission is to develop innovators who envision and create a better world – a natural complement to Turning Point’s mission, philosophy, and core values. Inspired by the Stanford School of Design, their award-winning curriculum is designed to encourage children to be bolder, more creative, less discouraged by failure, and hungrier for challenges.
Two innovative programs for students entering Grades K-8 will be offered at Turning Point this summer. These programs will be open to both Turning Point students and students from other schools.
For students entering Grades K - 5
Students may attend multiple weeks; exploring different themes or repeating themes if desired.
Designed to inspire budding innovators, these award-winning camps liberate students to explore and create without fear of mistakes. Students are grouped by grade; as campers grow, the curriculum evolves to include more advanced concepts, complex projects, and creative freedom. Themes include:

Students are encouraged to attend multiple weeks, exploring different majors or repeating majors if desired.
Galileo Summer Quest takes camp to the next level, empowering kids to explore a subject area that inspires them. Mentored by expert instructors and equipped with professional tools, campers create video productions, engineer drones, whip up inventive dishes, or design virtual reality games.
