Our Back-to School camp offers our incoming students in Preschool through 8 a chance to celebrate summer, connect with new friends and old, and hit the ground running in the new school year.
Preschool campers continue to grow and develop under the guidance of our full-time Primary faculty team, while elementary and middle school campers have the opportunity to dive into activities they will pursue in the coming year, such as sports, arts, technology, building, robotics, and more. And all campers enjoy healthy daily snacks, thanks to our signature Dirt to Dish program. Oh, and did someone say SUPER WATER SLIDE DAY?
9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Back-to-School Camp serves both as a bridge to the regular school year and as a means of exploring and growing at the relaxed pace of summer. Fun, games, running and laughing are paired with a healthy balance of enrichment in Exploration electives and the life lessons that are learned and reinforced every day at Turning Point.
After morning work, which serves to prepare them for the upcoming school year, students eat lunch and continue into the afternoon as they run and play, make new friendships and strengthen existing ones, and enjoy the fun of summer. Students will also have the opportunity to pursue curiosities or passions in areas such as athletics, STEAM learning, humanities, and more.
And, of course, we also continue the fun and games with Super Water Slide Day and an assortment of other awesome adventures that provide a fitting end to a beautiful summer.
*Grade 5 has the option to participate in the full-day Elementary program, or participate in the Grades 5-8 elective camps.

We encourage all new Middle School students to take advantage of Turning Point’s one-week orientation summer program. A Taste of Middle School provides a slice of life at Turning Point, so incoming students can connect with each other and get acquainted with the routines of the school year. Learners get a jump start to the new year by beginning to create a reliable organizational management system.
In this introductory summer program, Middle School faculty members help students acclimate to the core curriculum. Students entering Grade 7 choose a concentration in Latin or Spanish. They have the opportunity to experience all the facilities available to them in the upcoming years including technology labs, art rooms, science labs, and the garden. Most importantly, A Taste of Middle School provides students with the time and space to forge new relationships with students and teachers before the first week of school even begins.
