1. County of Santa Barbara Resources for Businesses: Provides links to resources as well as free consulting services such as the Economic Development Collaborative, Service Core of Retired Executives, and financial support for Women’s Economic Ventures.

2. County of Santa Barbara Business Resources Page: Provides start-up assistance, including networking and community resources, office spaces, and business associations.

3. America’s SPCD: Provides low-cost business and economic development assistance to small businesses and entrepreneurs.

4. Santa Barbara Start-up Guide: Covers developing a business plan, obtaining licenses and permits, and business support organizations.

5. Santa Barbara Community College: Connect with local community college to recruit local talent.

6. The Centre for Organization Effectiveness: Offers learning and development for managers, supervisors, and upper-level leadership. Teaches skills like conflict resolution, performance management, and managing diversity. This organization also offers one-on-one coaching sessions.
