Welcome to Corona del Sol Choir

At Corona del Sol Choir, we're more than just a group of choirs; we're a community. We warmly welcome all students who are eager to explore the world of music and make unforgettable memories along the way. Here's a glimpse of what we offer:

Bella Voce-Beginning Girls Choir

Novum-Beginning Boys Choir

No audition required! This is where your musical journey begins. Bella Voce and Novum are the perfect place to develop your voice and share your love for music with others. In these choirs you will learn the basics, like sight reading, breath control and music theory.

What We Do

Concerts

Choir is a performance-based class. All choirs participate in four concerts a year, one per quarter. This is where students get to showcase their amazing voices and the skills they are learning. The final concert of the year is our Pops concert. This concert showcases each choir AND students have the opportunity to audition for solo and group acts of their choosing. The Pops concert features popular music and it is a community favorite!

Choir Council

Your opportunity to lead! Like student council, but just for choir. They manage everything from uniforms and music to social media and the choir website. They meet weekly on campus.

Diamondbacks Game

Every year we have the opportunity to perform the National Anthem at a Diamondbacks home game. This an all choir event and the kids love having their family in the stands! It gives them all a chance to get to know the kids in other choirs and it gives choir parents an opportunity to connect.

Choir Retreat

This is our first event of the school year! The whole program comes together on a Saturday on campus where choir council leads everyone in games and activities. We like to mix it up so all students are randomly put in groups so they can get to know kids from other choirs.

Choir Tour

This is where we take the show on the road! The locations vary every year and include fun activities like seeing a musical theater production. We also incorporate a performance in cooperation with another school or singing group.

How to register

It's really easy, just enter your elective choice next to Choir 1. The school will do the rest!
