Calling all 6th-8th grade singers!
Corona del Sol Choir is thrilled to invite you to an unforgettable workshop packed with music, new friends, and plenty of fun! Whether you already love to sing or are simply curious about joining the amazing CDS choir program, this is your chance to discover what choir is all about.
Join our awesome choir director, Mr. Andrew DeValk, and our premier choir, the Jaztecs, for an exciting three-week musical adventure! We'll meet on Tuesday, September 1st; Tuesday, September 8th; and Tuesday, September 15th, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. in the Corona del Sol Choir Room.
Best of all, after completing the workshop, students will take the stage in the CDS Fall Choir Concert! They'll perform in our newly remodeled auditorium on Thursday, September 17h at 7:00 p.m. and share all the music, skills, and fun they've experienced along the way. Additional concert details will be provided to participating students.
The workshop fee is $20 and includes two Fall Concert tickets - one for the student and one for a guardian — a commemorative CDS Choir T-shirt, music and workshop materials, plus a snack and water each day. Families who register will receive more information before the workshop begins. Space is limited, so sign up by August 30th to reserve your spot! We can't wait to sing, learn, and make music with you!

Where:
Practice will be in the Corona del Sol Choir Room C171. The Fall concert will be at Corona Del Sol on September 17th. More information will be provided as we get closer to the concert date.
Parents are welcome to stay and watch, or drop off their student and come back at 6:00 pm.
Jaztec students will be on the side walk on Knox Road with signs showing the kids where to enter, welcome them to Corona, and escort them to the choir room.
Drop off, Pick up, and Parking:
If you are dropping off, you will see the Jaztec students on Knox Rd. with signs. If you are coming from Rural, You will drop off on Knox Rd. just before you get to the parking lot by our auditorium. This will be the same place for pick up. If you are planning on staying, you can park on Knox if there are spots, or you can park directly across the street at the Arizona Community church parking lot.
Unless being picked up by a parent in the classroom, middle school students will be escorted out to the sidewalk on Knox Road by a few of our Jaztec choir students.
