FALL CONCERT - SEPTEMBER 14th - CdS Auditorium @ 7pm

Kick off the year with us! The CdS Choirs will focus on music from home, America. We'll begin - as we usually do - with all choirs singing the Star Spangled Banner as we prepare for our DBacks performance. American choral music is a rich tapestry that encompasses various genres and influences. We’ll hear music from the Sacred Harp tradition, rooted in shape-note singing, which showcases the fervent and harmonically vibrant congregational music of the early American religious communities. We'll also hear some Stephen Foster who is known as the Father of American music. He contributed immensely to the development of American choral music through is timeless melodic and nostalgic themes. American folk songs capture the spirit of the nation, representing its diverse cultural heritage. African-American Spirituals, born out of the experiences of enslaved Africans, express resilience, faith, and hope. Gospel music, with its energetic rhythms and uplifting messages, has become an integral part of American choral tradition, inspiring and uniting people across generations. We'll hear Native American texts from the Shone oral tradition, an example of literary and musical tradition of Native American culture. And much, much more. We hope to see you there!

WINTER CONCERT - DECEMBER 8  - CdS Auditorium @ 7pm

Join us as we celebrate the sounds of the season! There is truly something magical about celebrating the holiday season through the joyous voices of our singers singing holiday choral music. The melodic harmonies and heartfelt lyrics bring warmth and cheer to our hearts. As these talented singers come together in perfect harmony, their voices create a symphony of holiday spirit that fills the air. Whether it's the enchanting beauty of traditional carols, or the lively energy of seasonal classics, these performances uplift our spirits and spread cheer, reminding us of the true meaning of the season.

SPRING CONCERT - MARCH 1st - at DOBSON H.S. @ 7pm

The spring concert is a wonderful conclusion to the 3rd quarter and will contain beautiful music from all different genres! Join us as we transition into spring with a lively and gorgeous composed set showcasing the improved talents of our choirs throughout the year so far!

POPS CONCERT - MAY 4th - at DESERT VISTA H.S. @ 7pm

Our concert season will conclude with our Pops Concert at DVHS while our auditorium is under renovation! This year's theme is "Let's go to the Movies" featuring music from... well, movies! This concert is the most technical and has a lot of moving parts this concert requires a lot of rehearsal. Since we have to take this show on the road and perform in a different space, adjustments will be made to make it more attainable. Also, there will only be a ONE NIGHT AND ONE NIGHT ONLY evening performance at Desert Vista. Even though DV's auditorium is larger than Corona's, we're confident that this show will sell out so be sure to get your tickets ASAP.
