Team Uniform Guidelines

Competition Bottoms

All athletes must purchase their own competition shorts.  To maintain a clean, professional, and unified team appearance at meets, all athletes must follow these uniform standards:

Requirements

• Solid black only
  
  

• No designs or patterns
  
  

• No stripes
  
  

• No writing or graphics
  
  

• Only a small brand logo is permitted

Acceptable Options (by event)

Athletes may choose the style that best fits their event and comfort:

• Compression shorts / half tights
  
  

• Sprint tights
  
  

• Split running shorts
  
  

• Athletic training shorts
  
  

• Full-length tights (cold weather)

Not Allowed

• Multi-color shorts
  
  

• Large logos or graphics
  
  

• Printed designs or patterns
  
  

• Writing or lettering of any kind
  
  

Tip

When in doubt, choose plain black and simple. If you’re unsure, check with your coach before purchasing.
